Belly Dancing (ages 12 & up) - MONDAY evenings 5:30pm-6:30pm
Athletic Skills & Drills (ages 8 to 12)- TUESDAY nights 6:30pm-7:30pm
Tak Won Do - Yellow Stripe BELT program (all ages) - FRIDAY nights 6pm-7pm
Skipping (ages 8 & up) -SATURDAY mornings 9am-10am

Riverdale offers a variety of different specialty programs for members and non-members. The programs are based on a minimum number of participants and will be offered at specific times.
Box Circuit Training: This calorie burning, cardiovascular and resistance training workout is based on 3-4 participants per instructor. You will require boxing wraps to safely learn the use of punching bags and focus pads and will be introduced to all basic elements of boxing. This workout is challenging, fun, invigorating and builds self-confidence, agility, coordination, stamina and mental focus.
Dates: Mondays at 7:00 pm and Wednesdays at 8:00 am
Winter Golf Conditioning: This program aims to increase your overall fitness and includes specific stretching, strengthening and sequencing exercises to enhance your power production and elevate your game. Condition your body with our qualified Sports Conditioning coach and learn how to increase your Club Swing Range, Speed and Power. Sessions are based on 2-4 participants.
VO2 Testing: The ultimate indicator of cardiovascular fitness. This test reveals the exercise level that will optimize a person’s ability to burn fat. Often only found in Hospitals and Universities, VO2 testing is now available at Riverdale! Ask our staff about getting tested!
Running Club: This instructor lead running club is the perfect way to learn to run or improve your speed and endurance with tips and tricks from our C3 experts. This program is open to all levels and takes place rain or shine.
Dates: Every Sunday: 10 – 11 am
Power Yoga: This outreach program is taught by Caron Shepley at the Caledon East Community Centre. A vigorous, fitness based approach to yoga that you are sure to find rewarding! There is a strong emphasis on strength and flexibility while also leaving you feeling connected with your mind and spirit.
Dates: Thursday evenings from 7:30-8:30pm
Adult Dance Programs: At different times of the year we offer instructional dance classes including Salsa Dancing, Zumba and Belly Dancing.
Workshops: Every month Riverdale offers a different workshop on topics such as Gait Analysis, Partner Stretching, First Aid and CPR Training. These workshops are for Riverdale members and friends.
