FALL:

Power of Group:  : invite your friends or come join in with a group for supervised personal training during prime times; Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 5 – 7 pm.  Perfect for groups, sports teams or those new to fitness.  Get training tips and have your program monitored or progressed by a personal trainer.  For groups of 3-8 participants.  Pre-register at front desk $20.00/ person/ session or $120.00/person for 2 sessions /week for 4 weeks.

Weight Management Course:  An 8 week course once a week instructed by Catherine Steer registered nutritionist.  Learn all about nutrition and exercise; how it affects, heals and changes your body.  If you want to lose or gain weight this is the perfect way to get the information you need to make healthy informed nutritional choices.  $120.00 for non-members and $96.00 for members, preregistration only, starting Feb 1, 2011.  Held on Tuesdays 10:30-11:30 am or Thursdays 5:30-6:30pm.

MMA Kickboxing School:  This is a great cardiovascular and strengthening workout with instructor Darrin Cave.  You will need boxing wrist wraps to safely learn the use of punching bags and focus pads as you are introduced to all basic elements of boxing.  This workout is challenging, fun, invigorating and builds self-confidence, agility, coordination, stamina and mental focus.  Pre-register for 1 or 2 sessions per week for 8 weeks.

Sport, Occupation or Injury Prevention Conditioning:  This program will increase your overall fitness including specific stretching, strengthening and sequencing exercises to enhance your power production and overall mobility.  Condition your body with our qualified strength conditioning coaches.  Perfect for those workers or sports persons with a high incidence of injury or repetitive strain injuries.  Learn how to move with greater ease, decreased pain and improved overall efficiency.  Private hour or ½ hour sessions.

Athletic Testing: Functional Movement and V02 assessments:  Are you a high school or volunteer coach for a sports team?  At Riverdale Fitness Mill we have Personal trainers who are athletic strength conditioning coaches.  We can provide functional movement analysis and V02 testing to help design conditioning programs to improve athletic performance and decrease incidence of injury.  Let our sport conditioning experts come to you or bring a group to our facility, to assess your athletes and design programs which will elevate your game.

Youth AthleticTraining:  Are you a developing athlete age 14 -18?  Develop proper form and conditioning early and gain a competitive edge.  Participate in this fun and challenging program designed to improve speed, power, agility, balance and flexibility; important aspects of all athletes.  Private or team (4-8 participants) sessions available.
